Bishop-elect Mark Beckman’s Ordination / Installation
On Friday, July 26, 2024, the Knoxville Convention Center will be transformed from a large, conference meeting space to a sacred place of worship, as we celebrate the ordination and installation of Bishop-elect Mark Beckman, the Fourth Bishop of Knoxville. For those who are not able to attend in person, the ordination/installation will be live streamed.
We are expecting 5,000 participants and guests to attend, including many bishops from around the country. The celebration opens with the colorful pageantry of processions beginning at 1:00pm, with the Ordination/Installation Mass beginning at 2:00pm. The doors will open at 11:45am.
